Lovina E. Ikenga is a classical education entrepreneur who administers a home-school cooperative in New York City. She was born and raised in Brooklyn. Both of her parents came to the United States from south-eastern Nigeria.
Lovina is a practicing Catholic with degrees in history and classics. She is a huge proponent of unceasing self-education that is based on following Jesus Christ and the study of the traditional liberal arts. She has a love/hate relationship with New York City but ultimately considers it home.
Debbie Coakley is a wife, mother, homeschooler and works part time at a home for unwed mothers. She was born and raised on the Caribbean island of Grenada, and is the oldest of seven children.
Debbie graduated from Berea College in Berea, KY with a degree in English. For the last 18 years Debbie has been homeschooling her children. She and her husband, Vince, are the proud parents of four children.
